Job Description
The Group’s Engineering Division focusses on solving real-world challenges in the areas of water and energy through innovations and collaborations. The successful candidates will have hands-on experience in our dynamic work environment, and opportunity to work with the best minds in the product development and implementation of systems that support provision of water and energy solutions in Africa.
What you will work on
Factory Automation
- Design and program a robotic arm for precise container handling and dosing.
- Integrate sensors, PLCs, and safety interlocks into the production line.
Electronics & IoT Product Development
- Prototype smart controllers and edge devices for pumps, meters, and power systems.
- Implement wireless connectivity (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi/BLE) and cloud dashboards.
AI-Enabled Customer Support Tools
- Build and fine-tune AI chatbots and knowledge-base search to streamline technical support.
- Leverage NLP and predictive analytics to enhance customer experience.

Eligibility
- 4th-year undergraduate in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong academic standing and evidence of project work (class, club, or personal).
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following: PLC/HMI programming, C/C++ & Robotics or Electronics will be an added advantage
