About the Role
We’re looking for an Engagement Manager (think: client partner meets impact strategist) to join our dynamic Services team for a 5-month contract engagement with the possibility to extend to full-time pending performance and business forecasts. We’re moving quickly and would ideally have you join us mid-September.
You’ll act as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of clients—scoping new projects, shaping research strategies, and ensuring our work is delivered with excellence. You’ll be a translator between client needs and our research execution teams, making sure every project delivers real insight and value.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves both people and process: someone who enjoys collaborating with purpose-driven clients, guiding research projects from idea to impact, and working with a diverse, global team.
What You'll Do
Be the Trusted Advisor: Own relationships with assigned clients, helping them articulate their learning goals and translate those into clear, actionable research.
Shape the Work: Lead project scoping—aligning on what’s feasible, meaningful, and timely—and develop survey and analysis plans that connect directly to client objectives.
Ensure Excellence: Oversee end-to-end project execution, keeping a close eye on quality, timeline, and alignment with client needs.
Turn Data into Insight: Contribute to final deliverables by shaping insights, adding context, and ensuring recommendations speak to what matters most for each client.
Navigate the Details: Manage key contract components (timelines, invoicing, amendments), working cross-functionally with our Sales and Finance teams.
Spot New Opportunities: Partner with Sales Leads to identify ways to deepen client relationships and support renewal or cross-sell conversations.
Who You Are
You have proven experience managing complex client relationships or partnerships—ideally in a consulting, research, social impact, or mission-driven context. We expect you likely have ~5-7 years of experience.
You’re a great communicator: clear, empathetic, and organized.
You possess an eye for visuals and have been hands-on in building client-facing deck materials.
You’ve led strategic research projects end-to-end from scope to delivery.
You’re intellectually curious and impact-driven—you want to help organizations learn and improve.
You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
You bring a balance of strategic thinking and operational follow-through.
Bonus: Experience in research, evaluation, or impact measurement is a plus.
