Job Description

Scope of Work 
The consultant/firm will be expected to: 

  • Review existing LSV documents and resources. 
  • Align the materials with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), national education  policies, and inclusive education priorities.
  • Refine and adapt the materials to ensure they are practical, user-friendly, and relevant  for learners, teachers, education officers, and other stakeholders. 
  • Produce a final set of contextualized LSV resources and a technical report outlining the  process, key recommendations, and adaptations made. 
  • The assignment will be carried out between 1st– 12th September 2025 (10 working days).  

Deliverables 

  • Reviewed and contextualized LSV materials ready for dissemination and  implementation. 
  • Technical report highlighting key recommendations and alignment with CBC and  inclusive education frameworks. 
  • Final user-friendly LSV resources for use by learners, educators and stakeholders. Consultant Qualifications 
  • Interested consultants/firms should meet the following minimum requirements: 
  • Proven expertise in curriculum development, education policy, and/or life skills and values education. 
  • Demonstrated experience in contextualizing or adapting training/teaching materials. Strong understanding of Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and inclusive education approaches. 
  • At least 5 years’ relevant professional experience. 
  • Degree in education, social sciences or a related discipline from a recognized institution. 
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
