Job Description

Our client, in logistics and Distribution Company is looking to hire a competent warehouse stock auditor to monitor the stock level and notifies the manager of any irregularities in the stock taking and reconciliation. Manag the stocks and ensures all security measures are in place to avoid theft.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Daily stock taking in the warehouse and reconciliation with Navision stocks.

 

Ensuring implementation of automation of warehouse processes.

 

Ensuring warehouse standard operating procedures are followed.

 

Ensuring stock, the stocks is stored in accordance with the policy.

 

Ensuring the existing warehouse tools and equipment are utilized optimally and are in good condition.

 

Ensuring the warehouse expenses are within the budget.

 

Daily end of day reconciliation with the sales team and ensuring picking list are accurately confirmed and signed.

 

Assist in the preparation of audit plans, programs, and checklists to guide the audit process.

 

Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation.

 

Assist in identifying potential risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement within the audited processes or system.

 

Assist in the evaluation of internal controls to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with established policies and procedures.

 

Ensuring stocks safety by ensuring the security is well covered and maintained.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Diploma in finance/Account or equivalent OR Minimum CPA (K)

 

Minimum Aggregate grade C plain, with C plain in Mathematics and English

 

At least 2 years’ audit experience OR warehouse experience in FMCG industry.

 

High level of honesty, integrity, speed, and attention to detail

 

Enthusiastic and a mature team player

 

Has planning and organizational capacity.

 

Good spoken and written communication skills.

 

Driving License
