Scope of Work
The selected consultant will take the lead in a comprehensive, three-phase process.
Inception and Situational Analysis: Conduct an in-depth internal and external analysis, including a review of key documents and consultations with stakeholders.
Strategic Framework Development: Facilitate a strategic planning workshop to define the organization’s vision, mission, and values; identify key objectives and pillars; and develop a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework.
Drafting and Finalization: Prepare, refine, and finalize the Strategic Plan document and create a summary presentation for the Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications
The consultant or team must demonstrate the following qualifications:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Organisational Development, Strategic Management, or a related social science discipline.
Proven experience of at least 10 years in strategic planning and organizational development, specifically for non-profit organizations or NGOs in the health sector.
Demonstrable understanding of the health landscape in Kenya, particularly in sexual and reproductive health including research.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and report-writing skills.
Experience in conducting extensive stakeholder consultations.
Previous experience working with a similar organization in Kenya or the East African region is an added advantage.
