Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to gather data for demand forecasting.
Apply statistical models and forecasting tools to analyze historical sales and predict demand
Track market trends, economic shifts, and competitor activities to adjust forecasts.
Identify demand risks and opportunities, recommending actions to mitigate disruptions.
Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely product delivery.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards on forecasts and performance metrics.
Enhance forecasting methodologies using best practices and advanced analytics.
Lead S&OP meetings with proactive analysis and maintain the master forecast file.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
CIPS, or CPA-K qualifications, is an added advantage.
Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role within supply chain operations.
Proficiency in demand forecasting software and tools.
Experience in supplier management.
Knowledge of statistical modeling, data analysis, and inventory management principles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Salary: Monthly Gross Salary: KES 220,000 – 250,000 depending on experience and qualifications(Approx 1710 USD)
