RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Craft high-quality pizzas (dough preparation, sauce, toppings, and baking) according to our menu and customer preferences.
Innovate and introduce new pastry and pizza recipes that align with café standards. •Ensure food presentation meets café quality standards and customer expectations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards (HACCP).
Manage stock levels of baking and pizza ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimal waste.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff or assistants when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or Baking (preferred).
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Pizza Chef, or similar role in a café, restaurant, or bakery.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pizza dough fermentation, and flavor pairing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Creativity and passion for food presentation and menu innovation.
Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
