Position Overview

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities and ensure that all goods and services are sourced in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant mannerYou will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate purchasing records while ensuring quality and value for the business and our customers

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms

 

Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies

 

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

 

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships

 

Conduct regular market research to identify cost-saving opportunities

 

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

 

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant laws

 

Collaborate with internal departments to understand material, equipment, and service requirements

 

Resolve any supplier or order-related issues promptly

 

Requirements

 

Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field

 

Minimum at least 3 years' experience in a procurement or purchasing role

 

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

 

Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g, ERP systems)

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

 

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 

Good understanding of supply chain processes and market trends.
