Responsibilities

Full scope editorial, design and publication production services, including the following:

 Editorial Services

Substantive Editing: Improving content flow, structure, logic, and tone for clarity and effectiveness.

Copyediting: Correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling, and adherence to style guides (e.g., APA, AMA, Chicago Manual of Style).

Proofreading: Final review for typos, layout errors, and formatting consistency.

Style and Consistency Review: Ensuring consistent terminology, language, spelling (U.S./U.K.), and acronyms across documents.

Translation: ability to manage and edit translations in French, Spanish or Portuguese

Design Services

These services support the visual presentation, readability, and brand alignment of materials.

Document Layout and Formatting: Applying consistent styles, templates, and layouts in tools like InDesign or MS Word. Includes designing professional, branded covers aligned with organizational or donor standards.

Graphic Design: Creating or refining visuals including charts, infographics, illustrations, and icons.

Branding Compliance: Ensuring that all visual elements adhere to the required brand guidelines and donor regulations.

Accessibility Compliance: Ensure Section 508 or WCAG standard compliance

Production Services: These cover the final preparation, delivery, and distribution of publications in various formats. Print-Ready File Preparation: Producing high-resolution, press-ready PDFs with proper bleed, crop marks, and color settings.

Digital Output Optimization: Preparing files for online distribution (e.g., web-optimized PDFs, EPUB, accessible formats).

File Archiving and Transfer: Delivering all final and source files in editable formats with fonts, graphics, and licenses included.

Provide an overview of your publication work and services, including staffing capacity

Please provide a list of relevant past projects since 2023

Please provide a link to your project portfolio, or links to relevant work samples, including:

document layout and formatting

digital, web-optimized file work samples and

a formatted or final product in French, Spanish or Portuguese

Cost Proposal

Please include price list including the following services

Editorial services: Substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, etc.

Design services: document layout and formatting, graphic design, etc. for print and for web-optimized digital products
