Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 

Logistics Operations

 

Coordinate the inbound and outbound movement of goods in collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transporters.

 

Issue and communicate accurate shipping schedules, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of materials and products.

 

Track shipments and follow up with providers to ensure delivery commitments are met.

 

Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, shipping arrangements, and required documentation.

 

Review and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and instructions for bills of lading (BL).

 

Cross-check shipping invoices with purchase orders and delivery confirmations to verify accuracy before submitting for payment.

 

Calculate applicable customs duties and tariffs, ensuring correct charges and regulatory compliance.

 

Verify and audit freight and logistics costs, ensuring alignment with contracts and company procedures.

 

Coordinate logistics-related complaints or claims, following up with service providers for resolution and escalating when needed.

 

Support the identification and onboarding of new transporters and negotiate rates under the supervision of the direct manager and finance team.

 

Issue credit notes when required, following internal approval processes and documentation protocols.

 

Warehouse & Transportation Coordination

 

Act as the focal point for daily operations with outsourced warehouse providers.

 

Follow up on the reception, proper storage, and outbound movement of goods.

 

Align warehouse shipments with customer orders and delivery schedules.

 

Ensure all outbound deliveries are accurately documented and collect and file proof of delivery (POD) for each shipment.

 

Address and resolve discrepancies in deliveries, documentation, or inventory movements in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

 

What We are Looking For

 

Education & Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

 

2–3 years of hands-on experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or supply chain operations.

 

Previous experience in warehouse and transport coordination is highly desirable.

 

Solid knowledge of import/export regulations and shipping documentation requirements.

 

Skills & Competencies

 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.

 

Detail-oriented with strong documentation, verification, and reporting skills.

 

Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

 

High level of accountability, ethics, and professionalism.

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experienced with ERP/logistics systems.
