Job Description

KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Analyzing excel claims schedule, correlating and cleaning of data

 

Registration of NHIF / NPS insurance claims notifications

 

Continuous timely updating and review of claims reserves to ensure maintenance of accurate reserves 

 

Processing of NHIF / NPS payments and updating of EDMS documentation.

 

Sharing of remittance advices and other information with co-insurers, leaders and other partners.

 

Reconciliation of paid invoices with co-insurance leaders and facultative reinsurers.

 

Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines

 

Handling any complaints associated with claims.

 

Ensuring that claim costs are kept to the bare minimum.

 

Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.

 

Attention to details in claims reported.

 

Any other assigned tasks within the department and the company at the discretion of the management.

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/business or an equivalent.

 

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

 

Data Analytical skills.

 

Expertise in MS Office Excel.

 

Interpersonal, communication and administrative skills

 

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within set tight timelines.

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Diploma in Insurance

 

EXPERIENCE

 

Entry level 

 

Demonstrable experience in data analysis
