Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at [Your Company Name], a leading real estate development firm in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in accounting, with a specific focus on VAT filing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accounting tasks including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial records for the company.

Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and receivables.

Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure they comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Assist with audits and internal controls.

Support financial forecasting and budgeting.

Provide general accounting support to the finance team.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and experience with VAT filing.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or other local systems).

Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge of UAE labor laws and accounting standards is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in real estate development companies is a plus.

Certification or training in VAT-related matters.
