  • We are seeking a Recruitment Assistant to join our team and provide support in our recruitment and onboarding endeavors. Your key responsibilities will include screening CVs, interviewing, maintaining candidate database, and handling administrative paperwork. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring our hiring process is streamlined and efficient. If you have prior experience in recruiting and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, we would be delighted to meet you. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post job ads on various job boards, company website, and social media platforms. Monitor job boards and manage incoming applications.
  • Review resumes and applications to pre-screen candidates for initial qualifications and suitability. 
  • Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and coordinate interview logistics. 
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to come up with a shortlist.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, providing information about the company, job roles, and the recruitment process.
  • Maintain and update the database 
  • Handle records and paperwork
  • Assist with other HR administrative and operations tasks such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with ad-hoc HR projects.
  • Carry out any other roles as directed by the management.

Requirements and skills

  • 2-3 years proven experience as Recruitment Assistant or another recruiting-related role
  • BSc/BA in HR, Business or relevant field
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Self-driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability background checks

Salary: Kshs. 30,000 - Kshs. 50,000
