Our client in the water solutions industry is seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations. This role will involve collaborating closely with various departments to enhance efficiency while reducing operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with company goals to improve operational processes.
- Support staff performance tracking in collaboration with HR and manage recruitment and training of new employees.
- Manage inventory and logistics, ensuring efficient fleet management.
- Coordinate training programs in collaboration with departmental heads.
- Analyze operational costs, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks using Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and regulatory bodies.
- Generate reports and present findings to upper management.
- Act as a troubleshooter for project-specific issues and advocate for operational standards.
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration and branch coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience of over 5 years in operations management.
- Project management qualifications.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
