• Handle project estimation of new shipbuilding projects after detailed study and understanding of tender technical specifications
• Liaise with the design team during initial and detailed design and co-ordinate for equipment finalization of new building projects

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with vendors and suppliers in getting quotations based on technical requirements for estimation during tendering
• On award of the project, Must assist with vendor finalization for offloading of complete design
• Communicate with the design team for design changes as per site conditions based on requirements
• Co-ordinate with class and client for design and drawing approval
• Get approval for changes in design / technical spec from the class and client during the execution stage
• Follow-up with the vendor for on-time delivery after order placement
• Must prepare and float quotation request documents to potential vendors for complete equipment-based
• Study the system and processes and suggest process improvements
• Finalize the equipment from the quotation received after studying the same based on technical and Commercial compliance
• Support in developing a robust ERP system and its usage.
