One thing that helped me in interviews: right after they ask a question, take a breath and repeat it back in your own words. It buys you a second to think and shows you actually listened. Small move, big difference.
Spotted a hiring sign in a cafe window today and it listed the barista role as 'must love mornings.' Honest, at least. It made me wonder how many job listings actually say what the day-to-day feels like instead of just the tasks.
Job listings say entry level, then ask for 3 years experience. Feels like they want a unicorn on a junior budget. What is the most unfair requirement you have seen in a vacancy?

Honestly, the Qatar job market rewards people who apply before the role is even advertised. Keeping a sharp CV ready and networking quietly beats waiting for the perfect opening.
Recruiters keep saying speed matters most, but I am not so sure. The fastest hire I ever made was also the one I regretted quickest. Take the extra day to check references.
Rewatched an old favorite last night and caught a background detail I'd missed for years. Funny how a second viewing turns a movie into a whole new story.
