Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines are understood and strictly adhered to.
- Conducting performance and operation reviews to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supervising staff by identifying and delegating responsibilities, providing directions to staff, and ensuring restaurant objectives are met and achieved.
- Conducting staff training and monitoring compliance in areas such as safety, sanitation, and food hygiene.
- Monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and food presentation.
- Ensuring proper coordination between the front and back offices to ensure proper service delivery.
- Assisting in the menu implementation and improvement of menu items based on feedback gathered from guests.
- Identifying restaurant needs in kitchenware and equipment, placing orders, and liaising with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintaining detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs of revenues.
- Liaising with external contractors on Jumia, Glovo, and Uber Eats for takeaway services.
- Coordinate daily operations, including service, housekeeping, production, purchasing, and admin, to ensure efficient operations.
- Deliver excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction
