Duties & Responsibilities;
Reporting to the Director, Information Communication Technology & Software Development through Manager Programmer, the successful candidate will among others be responsible for the following:
• Assist the programmers in working with the Health Informatics groups at AMPATH to design, develop and modify health applications.
• Assist to thrive in a growing digital landscape implementing the next-generation digital health solutions used within and outside Kenya.
• Assist software engineers to design and customize features that work with/on java-bascd OpenMRS (www.openmrs.org) software.
• Assist the Programmers with external EMR implementing parh1ers in the OpenMRS community, to work on new solutions such as the OpenMRS 3.0.
• Assist the Programmers to Micro-Frontends and single- page applications.
• Assist the Programmers create a health data analytics framework using modern data engineering tools such as MySQL, Apache Spark, Airflow and ELK Stack.
