Encore AI Raises $30M to Transform Customer Support with AI Agents

What Is Encore AI?

Encore AI, a startup founded in 2022 as Insait IO, has raised $30 million in Series A funding to scale its AI voice agent platform. The company analyzes customer interactions—calls, emails, texts—to train AI agents that can work alongside or autonomously replace human support and sales teams.

From Insait IO to Encore AI

Originally focused on recommendation software for financial advisers, Encore AI rebranded after discovering that its real value lay in mining successful conversational playbooks. CEO Dvir Ginzburg stated that the AI learns not just scripts but also the jokes and anecdotes top relationship managers use.

The “Interaction Mining” Approach

Encore AI’s platform collects call recordings, emails, and messages, then connects them with CRM data. It breaks each interaction into stages to identify which tactics move deals forward and which fail.

Analyzing Conversations for Success Patterns

The system pinpoints exactly how different employees succeed at various stages of a customer journey, enabling the AI to replicate those winning behaviors.

AI That Tells Jokes Like Top Employees

Ginzburg notes that the AI agent can mimic real human touches, including humor and storytelling, because it runs off actual playbooks that have worked in practice.

How Encore AI Benefits Enterprises

Identifying Inefficiencies and Friction Points

Beyond training agents, the platform helps companies spot gaps in their existing support and sales processes. It highlights where conversations break down and suggests improvements.

AI Agents as Assistants or Autonomous Operators

Encore AI’s agents can communicate directly with customers via voice or text, or act as real-time assistants by recommending responses and tactics during live calls.

Real-Time Recommendations During Calls

Employees receive instant guidance based on historical data, helping them close more deals or resolve issues faster without leaving their workflow.

Market Position and Future Plans

Competition from CRM Giants

While Salesforce, SAP, Zoho, and HubSpot could build similar features, Ginzburg argues that legacy CRM systems lack the conversational history foundation Encore AI uses. “They would need to overhaul their entire tech stack,” he says.

$30M Series A Led by Team8

Team8 led the round, with participation from Planven, Lukatz, Garage, and several banks and insurers. Some investors were customers first, demonstrating product-market fit.

Expansion into U.S. Financial Institutions

Encore AI plans to use the funding to grow its U.S. sales operations and deploy its platform with more large financial institutions. The company already serves over 40 enterprise customers globally, most in finance.
