We wish to notify the general public that Advert No.09/2024/05 for the position of Security Warden III which was published in the Daily Nation Newspaper on 29th February, 2024 appeared in error as Security Warden III J/G ‘E’. The position is hereby amended to Security Warden III J/G ‘D’.
Consequently, the application period for the particular Advert No. 09/2024/05 has been extended to 20th March 2024.
Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 16,870 – 19,220 p.m. ‘ Job Group ‘D’
Allowances as per SRC Circulars attached to the position.
Terms of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –
i. Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D Plain or its equivalent qualification.
ii. Be below 36 years of age;
iii. Be physically, medically and mentally fit; and
iv. Be in possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
Duties and Responsibilities
Before deployment, direct entrants will undergo three (3) months initial training as Security Warden III and on successful completion of their training. Specific duties and responsibilities will involve;
i. Patrol and/ or guard of access points;
ii. Detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and/ or protected areas; and
iii. Control crowds and collect information and report on matters of security interest.
