The Republic of Kenya’s Ministry of Public Service Performance and Delivery Management has advertised vacancies within the State Department for Performance and Delivery Management. Additionally, the role involves monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on Performance Contracts, maintaining information platforms, disseminating information, collating data, and preparing reports. Applicants must have served in a relevant position for a specified period, hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, have a certificate in Senior Management Course, demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, meet Chapter Six of the Constitution’s requirements, and show merit in work performance.
Senior Performance Management Officer (‘L’/CSG 9): This position involves collecting, analyzing, and compiling data for Performance Management, facilitating the preparation of Performance Contracting guidelines, providing technical support, ensuring compliance with standards, disseminating information, providing feedback, and preparing draft reports. Candidates must have relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in specified fields, proficiency in computer applications, and demonstrated work performance merit.
Both positions require candidates with strong communication skills, teamwork ability, innovation, financial and time management, customer focus, continuous learning, technological awareness, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, candidates should embody professionalism, integrity, transparency, accountability, impartiality, honesty, respect for others, confidentiality, and respect for diversity.
Applicants must apply using the PSC 2 form (Revised 2016), available on the Public Service Commission website, and should not attach any documents to the form.
