Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium (Kenya Supply Unit) is looking to fill the position of a Graduate Intern-Customer Service to learn in close collaboration with the Customer Service Officer on the daily operations of Customer Service department and to understand the various tasks relating to KSU activities. He / She will report to the Supply Chain Manager for daily supervision.
Objective of the Position:
The intern position is to learn and assist Customer Service Officer in the daily Supply operations of the Operations department.
This person will also support procurement team in supplier order follow-ups as well as collaborate with the Warehouse, Finance and Transport & Customs Departments for effective service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Diploma and specialization in Customer Service, Logistics/Medical Supply Chain. (recent graduate from Colleges/Universities not more than(six) 6 months after graduating)
Strengths required: Diplomacy, culturally sensitive, patience, proactive, flexible and attentive to details, organized, computer literate, excellent communication, strong interest in and commitment to international humanitarian work and MSF, and a team player.
Language: Proficiency in written and oral English & Swahili.
