About Me
Currently a facilities officer at Nw realite managing key facilities in the city of Nairobi.
- Worked as an Earthworks foreman/assistant Site Supervisor at Taifa Gas SEZ where I was attached to Taifa Civil and Earthworks limited a subsidiary of Taifa Gas SEZ for a period of seven months.
- Had a short stint at Buxton Point project where I worked with Roton Construction company as a site supervisor for a period of 3 months.
- Had an internship at the Ministry of Roads and Transport, Department of Roads, Material Testing and Research Division at Mombasa Regional Laboratory for one and half years.
- Attached to Mombasa County Government of Mombasa, the Department of Transportation, infrastructure and public works, Public works section at the structural sub- section for a period of 4 months for the compulsory industrial attachment.
During my career period, I have acquired several skills:
*Concrete mix design
• Supervision of construction projects under direction of civil structural engineer.
• Building and civil structures inspection.
• Site visits and report writing and preparations of civil drawings
• Estimation of projects
• Contract management using softwares like Microsoft project
• Office practice
• Interpretation and actual application on projects
• Architectural design using AutoCAD, Arch Cad,Auto Cad, Arch Cad, Revit, Sketch up and solid works amongst other design softwares.
• Structural design and detailing using AutoCAD, Prokon, Prota structure,Tekla structure, Staad Pro amongst other design softwares.
