About Me
Nicholas Kibet Rotich stood at the crossroads of his life, the early morning sun casting a golden glow on the campus of Moi University. It was 2012, and he had just graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. The years of studying had not been easy, but Nicholas had always believed that the future held something special for him.
His journey began in earnest in January 2015 when he joined the bustling world of MTRH’s Human Resource Department. As a young officer, he was full of ambition, determined to make an impact. Every day was a learning experience—mediating between employees, handling recruitment, managing payrolls, and ensuring that policies were followed. His time at MTRH taught him the value of empathy and precision. He became known not just as a problem-solver but as someone who truly cared about the people he worked with.
However, life was not without its challenges. In May 2019, after four years of dedicated service, Nicholas knew it was time for a change. It wasn’t about leaving behind what he had built but about growing further, expanding his horizon. That's when AMPATH Centre came into his life—a new challenge, a new environment, but the same goal: helping people reach their full potential.
In June 2019, Nicholas joined AMPATH as a Human Resource Officer I. The work was different but just as fulfilling. AMPATH’s mission aligned with Nicholas’ values—providing support and care to those in need, and creating a workplace where every employee could thrive. In this role, Nicholas found himself guiding the organization's workforce, streamlining HR processes, and ensuring employee satisfaction.
As the years went by, Nicholas became a mentor to younger HR professionals, his wisdom growing with every experience. He had mastered the delicate balance between the needs of the organization and the well-being of its people. His journey was far from over, but one thing was clear—his dedication to human resource management was more than a job; it was his calling.
