About Me
I have over 21 years of professional experience, with 16 years of international development experience in strategy management. This includes leading strategy development at regional (multi-country) and national levels, strategy management capacity building, technical back stopping and performance monitoring, as well as strategic investment, portfolio management and resource allocation guided by the global planning cycle in alignment with global, regional and national strategies across 3 sub-regions and more than 25 countries in Africa.
My expertise spans from developing and contextualising analytical alignment and monitoring frameworks on leading, coordination, planning, management, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting, in strategy management specifically in the alignment of investments and resource allocation with strategy.
Coupled with strategy level expertise to spear head the success of strategy execution, I have multi-country and multi-sectoral experience in design of technical programs focused on the wellbeing of children especially the most vulnerable in both stable and fragile contexts, applying theory of change and other logical models to help translate strategy, investment and resource allocation decisions into operations.
As part of strategy management, I have excellent multi-level stakeholder and networking skills including engagement with leadership at global, regional and national levels. Outstanding achievements include alignment of resources with strategy across 25 countries in Africa, building capacity and supporting senior leadership teams, technical advisors, and core field staff in strategy, programming, and knowledge management. My passion lies in utilising my leadership, organisational, and communication skills, along with my wealth of experience, to drive operational improvements and enhance program implementation, ultimately contributing to the overall wellbeing of all stakeholders.
