Lorna Gathoni is an enthusiastic and dedicated Master of Science in Data Science student at KCA University, with a solid background in Mathematics and proven proficiency in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nairobi and experience working with organizations like the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission,Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) and AMICA Savings and Credit Limited, she brings a diverse skill set to the table. Proficient in data analysis, programming languages such as Python and R, and with expertise in financial accounting, Lorna is eager to apply her academic knowledge and analytical skills in a professional setting. As a mathematics mentor, she has demonstrated her passion for teaching and problem-solving. Fluent in both English and Kiswahili, Lorna is known for her excellent communication skills and personal attributes such as being hardworking, ethical, and highly motivated. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys socializing, interacting, and reading informative literature.
