Health systems and digital health specialist with 18+ years leading national EMR, LIS, SafeCare and WHO programs, training 4,000+ staff and strengthening systems across Africa
About Me
I am a health systems and digital health specialist with over 18 years of experience leading and supporting large scale digital health programmes across Kenya and other African countries. My work has focused on strengthening health systems through the design, rollout, and management of national and regional digital platforms.
At I TECH Kenya, I coordinated the national rollout of KenyaEMR, Laboratory Information Systems, mobile HIV testing applications, immunization platforms, and other health information systems supported by CDC. This included training more than 4,000 healthcare workers, mentoring Ministry of Health staff, and ensuring sustainable adoption of digital tools in over 700 health facilities.
Regionally, I have worked with WHO and WHO AFRO to deliver the Digital Health Applied Leadership Program in Rwanda and Malawi. Through structured learning, peer exchange, and practical projects, I coached senior health leaders to design and implement digital health strategies tailored to their country contexts.
My career demonstrates proven expertise in digital health implementation, capacity building, and partnership development across Africa.
