A career gap on a CV or multiple job changes should not automatically raise red flags. There are often valid reasons behind such decisions — limited growth opportunities, unhealthy work environments, ineffective leadership, inadequate compensation, or personal responsibilities.
Every professional has a unique journey. Frequent job transitions are rarely made without reason. Most individuals seek stability, respect, meaningful work, and career progression.
As HR leaders and recruiters, a little more empathy can go a long way. 🤝
Instead of assessing only the resume, try to understand the story behind it. ❤️
Talent deserves a fair evaluation.
Sometimes, all a capable professional needs is an opportunity — not assumptions.

For some, it’s not 15. It’s 50. For others, it’s even 100. That’s the reality of job hunting. competition is fierce and openings attract hundreds of applicants.
Rejections are tough. They drain you, dishearten you, and sometimes make you question your worth.
But here’s the truth:
You don’t need every company to say yes, you just need ONE.
• Every rejection builds resilience. It’s not failure; it’s preparation.
• Every interview teaches you something about the process, the role, or yourself.
• Every application gets you closer to the right opportunity.
It’s hard to stay motivated, especially when others are celebrating their offers. But your time will come. less

I’m sharing this based on my personal experience, so others don’t fall into the same trap.
Recently, I attended an interview that looked completely professional at first — proper office location, confident communication, and even quick selection. Everything felt genuine.
But soon after that, I was asked to pay a “deposit / registration / security amount” to move forward.
⚠️ This is a SCAM — and I faced this practically.
Please remember:
• ❌ No genuine company will ever ask you to pay money to get a job
• ❌ There are no fees for interviews, training, visa processing, or job confirmation
• ❌ Pressure tactics like “limited slots”, “pay today”, “final chance” are major red flags
The moment money is mentioned, step back and walk away.
I’m posting this only to create awareness and help fellow job seekers who come here with hopes and responsibilities.
🙏 If this helps you or someone you know, please like, comment, or share awareness can save someone’s hard-earned money and time.

The least you can do?
Communicate.

There has been a noticeable rise in fake job postings and fraudulent “companies” targeting job seekers across the UAE.
Here’s how these scams usually operate:
• Fake job advertisements are posted online
• Candidates receive quick interview calls or instant offer letters
• Applicants are asked to pay for visa processing, medical tests, or administrative fees
• After payment, communication stops
• Office locations suddenly change or cannot be verified
⚖️ Important Reminder:
Under UAE Labour Law, companies are not allowed to charge candidates for visa processing, recruitment fees, or job applications. These costs are the employer’s responsibility.
If someone asks you to transfer money to secure a job, that is a major red flag.
✅ Protect yourself:
• Verify the company’s official email domain
• Check the office location and website
• Review their LinkedIn presence
• Never transfer money for a job opportunity
• Be cautious if the hiring process feels rushed or unprofessional
Job seekers — especially newcomers — are often targeted because they are eager to grow. There is nothing wrong with ambition. But we must stay cautious.
A genuine employer offers you a job — they do not ask you to pay for one.
