About Me
I am a CPA(K), CISA and Senior Finance, Accounting, Audit & Risk Leader with 17 years of progressive experience across financial services, SACCOs, manufacturing, hospitality, NGOs and audit environments. I bring strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls, audit, risk management, tax compliance, governance and business performance.
I have led and strengthened finance functions, improved accounting processes and internal controls, supported management decision-making, and worked closely with boards, senior management, external auditors and regulatory stakeholders. My experience includes IFRS, IPSAS, GAAP, IFRS 9, statutory compliance, payroll, management reporting, cash-flow modelling and audit coordination.
I am a member of ICPAK and ISACA, with additional training in taxation, Power BI, internal audit and strategic finance. I also have practical exposure to Tally and Pastel and strong transferable ERP and systems capabilities. I combine technical accounting expertise with leadership, problem-solving and a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
