In the beginning..
I started production with my teenage band in the 80’s, organising
venues, equipment, publicity and logistics. After a stint working and
then managing hi spec construction sites.
The opportunity..
In the 90’s I took a job as a runner with Big Concerts and quickly
moved up, managing the associated Crewing Company and site
managing the various stadia and venues for many International
Concerts up until the present day. Still freelancing In became the go to
guy in South Africa for Producing Corporate Shows in ‘difficult’ African
Countries like Sierra Leone, Mali and Senegal, including one show
300km into the jungle.
The break..
As Special Assistant to the Technical Director for the LOC of the 2010
FIFA World Cup I was responsible for troubleshooting the final phases
of construction for 4 of the 2010 WC Stadia including the Soccer City/
The National Stadium. I was then appointed Production Coordinator
for the FIFA Kick-off Celebration Concert featuring 8 A listers and
attended by 40 Heads of State. Broadcast live to an international
audience for 3 hours
The peak..
My biggest accomplishment to date was that after being appointed
as an Overlay Site manager for Training Sites (TRS) for the Qatar FIFA
Arab Cup in 2021, I was then in July 2023 appointed as Senior Overlay
Manager for Education City Stadium (ECS) for FIFA WC Qatar 2022.
Recent Events
I was contracted as a Branding Install Manager - Troubleshooter for
the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and subsequently asked to extend my
contract to include the Paralympic Games.
Form..
I have a true passion for events, am obsessive about timeous delivery,
have never fallen short in any event. I am a hands on natural leader
on site, and can effortlessly switch roles from dealing with crew
and service providers to high level meetings with Client’s/Host
Country representatives, even Government Ministers. Possessing the
confidence, poise, dignity , and diplomatic nous required for this.

I have excellent, proven, and trusted people available to call on to fulfil
any Technical, Event, Broadcast, Branding, and Construction roles
should they be required.
