About Me
My name is Sarah Ochieng, lives in Kisumu County. I am married with two children.
I hold a diploma in Clinical Medicine & surgery from The Kenya Medical Training College. I have an in-depth knowledge of quality management and improvement in Health care system, supply chain and commodity management systems, integrated HIV/AIDS/TB care and treatment, Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI’s) Family planning, Maternal Neonatal Child Health and Sexual reproductive Health.
In addition to my formal education and training I strive to maintain policies and procedures. And have a wide experience in coordinating and implementing Quality Improvement initiatives with implementing partners, National, Counties, sub-counties and facility level and Clear understanding of site improvement using monitoring systems and PEPFAR quality strategy. I have excellent leadership, decision-making, organizational and communication skills and quantitative skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a demanding environment and a key team player. I have the ability to analyze and interpret data and write reports.
I have been actively engaging myself with public health interventions and am very conversant with the Ministry of Health Kenya devolved Systems and have interest in capacity building and supported Kisumu West Sub- County as a Clinical Mentor and a Program Officer. I am currently working as a program officer till 06/03/2025.
