With 16+ years of experience across operations management, risk, compliance, credit, and financial services, I have built my career at the intersection of business performance, governance, and sustainable growth.
I currently lead Operations, Risk amp; Compliance at Aptic Credit Limited, where I provide strategic oversight across operational performance, enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, governance, and internal controls. My work includes strengthening the organization’s risk and compliance frameworks, supporting Digital Credit Provider regulatory readiness, developing policies and controls, and driving process improvements that enable the business to grow responsibly.
Throughout my career, I have worked on both building institutions and transforming existing operations. I played a key role in the establishment and operational rollout of Choice Microfinance Bank, contributing to policy development, process design, regulatory structures, and its successful CBK licensing journey. I have also led branch and operational teams, strengthened control environments, implemented business continuity measures, and used data and performance insights to improve decision-making.
My approach is simple: good governance should not slow business down; it should make better business possible.I am particularly interested in Operations Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Digital Financial Services, Credit Risk, Business Transformation, Corporate Governance, and Strategic Management.
Currently pursuing an MSc in Strategic Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, I continue to combine practical leadership experience with strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning.
