1. Approving qualified raw materials, ethanol, for use in manufacturing processes and to
ensure products manufactured maintains the required high-quality standards.
2. Overseeing writing and approving of quality control Standard Operating Procedures as
per requirement.
3. Ensuring out of specification raw materials or products are taken through all the
required procedures and overseeing their discarding if required.
4. Manage staff and workload in the quality control department.
5. In-charge of quality inspections both in-house and from external inspectorates.
6. Handling Corrective actions and Preventive actions (CAPA) in inspection reports.
7. Communicating key performance Indicators (KPIs) to the higher management to
improve standards and production.
8. Oversee implementation of quality assurance policies and programs in the company.
9. Develop strategies to improve production process in line with reports from the market
requirements and demands to ensure the maintenance of the product acceptance and
competitiveness amongst the consumers.
10. Analyse data to identify areas of improvements and also to ensure the company
maximise on profitability in adherence with quality maintenance.
