CPA George Njagi Machua is an Accounting Professional, with Leadership and management skills spanning over 25 years of progressive experience. I have built an illustrious career in both private and public sector. Over the years, I have demonstrative ability on impacting top lines of companies in management and sustainability. Have vast experience in leadership, external audits, reconstruction of accounts, Financial statements Reporting, Business consulting, Taxation & Tax planning, Working capital management, Credit control, Capital Budgeting, Budget preparation, implementation & monitoring, Statutory audits, Strategy and Governance, Finance operations. Have risen from and Audit Assistant to an Audit Senior in several leading international audit and consulting firms for 15 years and over 10 years in Management as Chief Accountant and designate to Chief Financial Officer. Have supervised and provided leadership to sizable teams of staff in Audits of large companies, NGOs, major hospitals & medical colleges in East Africa. I have wide exposure to Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), Company’s Act No. 17 of 2015, Income Tax and VAT Act and NGO coordination act among others. I have extensive knowledge and experience in Community Based organization and NGOs, SACCOs and pension schemes, accounting systems (ERPs), developing wide range of business development strategies and financial management objectives besides proficiency in forensic and investigative audit work. My greatest strength is my independence, good analytical skills, judiciousness, impeccable integrity, good ethical standards, dependability and reliability. My goal is create impact in leadership positions with reputable and successful organizations and drive change by applying the wide skills set and experience to achieve Organizations’ as well as individual growth.
