About Me
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Finance Option from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Cooperative Management and a certification in CPA Section 4 with ongoing studies. My career spans for a period of over 12 years with experience in Operations, Accounting, Financial Management as well as Customer Service.
As an adept Finance professional, I have a well-rounded skill set in Company Financial planning and cost/ revenue management, adherence to the company financial policies and procedures and reviewing key controls in commercial and procurement processes. As an individual who is driven by excellence I have been able to recommend improvements to business processes which led to an increase in revenue and reduced operational costs. As a team leader, I coordinated weekly check in meetings with teams and led deliberations as well as assigned action points to the members. I also scheduled check-in meetings with my supervisors with the rest of my teams and took minutes. This gave me very good coordination and scheduling experience. I am very efficient and enjoy working with systems that make inter-departmental coordination seamless.
I have also worked in other positions including Payables Accountant and Customer Service Associate where I acquired excellent skills and expertise in preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements, developed financial systems and processes for financial forecasting as well as giving customers a great experience.
These attributes combined with my ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections using Quick books ,Tally, Microsoft Dynamics 365,XERO,ERP& SAP systems.
