I am Kagema Muthami. With a rich background in media management, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for innovation to the fields of broadcast radio and TV management, as well as consultancy. My career has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a drive to push the boundaries of what's possible in media and communications.
🖊️I have proven expertise in managing TV and radio stations, from policy design to content acquisition and transmission. My skills in technical event planning, logistics management, and delivering seamless, high-impact events have consistently resulted in successful and memorable projects. I am adept at creating and implementing strategies that elevate brand presence and engage audiences, and I leverage digital content and social media marketing to enhance brand visibility. With strong project management skills, I excel in strategic planning, team coordination, and budget management.
🖊️In my current role as Team Lead for Events Technical & Field Operations Consultant at RG-CONSULT Inc., I lead technical event planning and coordination, ensuring every aspect of our events meets client objectives and exceeds expectations. My responsibilities include developing event timelines, sourcing quality vendors, and providing professional technical guidance to clients.
🖊️As the Channel Manager at Rembo TV, STARTIMES Media Kenya, I designed and implemented channel policies, managed content production, and led a technical support team to achieve near-perfect channel uptime. My strategic initiatives significantly boosted the channel's rankings and viewership.
🖊️During my tenure as Head of Television at Kirk TV, Presbyterian Church of East Africa, I oversaw the station's policy design, ensuring smooth transmission schedules and high-quality broadcasts. I led a talented team in producing creative content and managing comprehensive coverage of major events like the 2022 General Elections.
