I hold a PhD in Islamic Economics and Finance, where my research examined climate change not only through the lens of divine religions but also through an empirical review of the climate-related performance of nearly eighteen Islamic financial institutions.
In addition to my PhD, I have earned qualifications including:
1. AAOIFI Shari’ah Auditing Certification,
2. FinTech (online) from the University of Michigan,
3. Risk Management from the New York Institute of Finance,
4. Islamic Economics, Usul al-Fiqh from the International Islamic University Malaysia, and
5. Foundations of Modern Law from the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
I bring over 13 years of experience in the fields of Islamic sciences, fatwa, Shari’ah advisory, and Islamic arbitration law. I have also had the privilege of teaching almost all the major disciplines of Islamic sciences, such as Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Islamic Inheritance, and Islamic finance, across different countries and in multiple languages. less
