About Me
I started off as a financial ERP systems implementation consultant where I implemented several ERP systems across East Africa over several industries including grant management.
In this while as Financial ERP Systems consultant where I was approached by one of the clients I implemented ERP systems for in Kenya and Uganda to join their new acquisition as Management Accountant.
Under this role, I implemented Finance function processes, training and in charge of the quarterly and monthly reporting.
I was also part of the finance team to restructure the new organization and create a subsidiary specializing in one specific line of business where I became the lead finance person to manage the new subsidiary.
After 3 years in the role I was promoted to be the country Finance Manager managing both subsidiaries and in charge of all the operations in Finance. While in this role I oversaw the implementation of country wide processes and procedures, successful certification of 3 ISO standards as well as designing and implementing a 3 year strategic plan for the two subsidiaries.
This role I held until 2021 September after Covid I decided to have a sabbatical due to family reasons.
After one year break I joined Onafriq Ltd as Group Reconciliation Assistant Manager in charge of Wallets across Africa. In this new role I oversee all wallets reconciliations, funding, audit and team management. This is the role I currently hold.
I would like yo pursue more challenges roles and expand my knowledge and opportunities thus the reason I am putting in this application.
