With over 5 years of post-qualification experience (total 8 years of pre-qualification experience ) in financial reporting, controllership, and auditing, combined with my Chartered Accountant qualification and expertise in US GAAP and IFRS, I believe I am well-suited to contribute effectively to your esteemed organization.
In my current role as a Senior Revenue Accountant at Hitachi Vantara, I manage critical financial operations, including revenue recognition activities, partner program rebate calculations, and financial analysis, for EMEA and AMER regions. My experience in financial reporting and controlling has equipped me with a strong understanding of complex financial systems, compliance requirements, and the ability to implement process improvements.
During my tenure at The Walt Disney Company, I was actively involved in R2R transition activities for EMEA entities, specifically focusing on regions like NORDICS and Italy where I handled all the month end close activities right from preparing reconciliations, passing accruals, adjustments and reclass entries and looking after the Withholding tax Payable process . I consistently applied IFRS/US GAAP/Ind-AS standards in various aspects of financial reporting and was instrumental in the US GAAP to I-GAAP transition. This role honed my ability to manage stakeholders across different geographies, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
While at Infosys, I have worked on various finance modules like AR, AP, Fixed Assets management, Working Capital Management
My background in financial services, along with my hands-on experience with SAP FICO, Oracle ERP, and other financial tools, aligns well with the requirements of this role. Furthermore, my membership in Toastmasters has enhanced my communication skills, allowing me to effectively manage stakeholders and present financial data with clarity.
