Kenya Society for the Blind (KSB) was established in 1956 with the main objective of assisting the Governments effort in preventing avoidable blindness, awakening public interest in the welfare of the blind and creation of an environment that encourages the inclusion of the visually impaired persons in the society. KSB also advocates for policy change and program implementations by coordinating investments for strategic high impact interventions towards prevention of avoidable blindness
