The Kenya Sugar Board (KSB) is a state corporation established under the Sugar Act No. 11 of 2024 and mandated to develop, regulate, and promote the sugar industry. The board operates under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and is responsible for regulating as well as implementing policies and strategies to enhance the production, processing, and marketing of sugar. The Kenya Sugar Board works closely with other government agencies, sugar millers, farmers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the sugar industry in Kenya operates efficiently and sustainably.
