Kenya Development Corporation Ltd (KDC) is a Development Finance Institution formed in 2020 by merging the operations of Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC), Tourism Finance Corporation (TFC), and IDB Capital Limited. KDC’s mandate is to serve as a catalyst for Kenya’s socio-economic development by providing long-term financing as well as financial, investment, and business advisory services. It therefore helps address critical long-term funding gaps in target sectors in Kenya and elsewhere that commercial banks cannot meet.
