Warehouse Support Crew

Role Overview

The Support Crew helps keep furniture moving smoothly from delivery to showroom or customer handover. You’ll assemble and inspect products, assist with stock handling and deliveries, and maintain well-presented store displays so customers can see and receive items in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture using the correct tools and manufacturer instructions, checking that components fit securely and finished pieces are stable.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, missing parts, cleanliness, and function; raise any concerns promptly before display or handover.
• Receive and sort incoming stock, move items safely into assigned storage areas, and keep products labelled and easy to locate.
• Assist with stock counts and comparisons between physical inventory and records, reporting discrepancies for follow-up.
• Prepare furniture for delivery by loading and unloading carefully, arranging items securely, and preventing damage during handling.
• Join delivery teams when needed to help assemble or position furniture at customer locations and provide basic setup assistance professionally.
• Set up, refresh, and maintain showroom displays in line with store layouts, product guidance, promotions, and seasonal changes.
• Keep warehouse and showroom areas clean and orderly, follow safe lifting and equipment procedures, and store tools properly after use.
