Role Overview
As a Virtual Nurse Customer Care Manager, you will serve as a central coordination point for a U.S.-based home healthcare team, keeping care delivery organized while helping patients, families, caregivers, and clinicians stay informed and supported. Your daily work will involve managing schedules, resolving service questions, and coordinating across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders so home care continues without unnecessary delays. This role matters because smooth coordination directly affects patient access, family confidence, and the quality of every care experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a virtual liaison for patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff throughout the home care journey.
- Build, adjust, and monitor caregiver schedules to align patient needs with availability and coverage requirements.
- Coordinate care services and follow up on service requests, schedule changes, and gaps in coverage.
- Respond to questions from families and caregivers with clear status updates, next steps, and compassionate guidance.
- Partner with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to keep care plans and operational details aligned.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduling, communication, and coordination activities in line with healthcare privacy expectations.
- De-escalate concerns and resolve service issues with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
- Support ongoing communication with caregivers and patients as they move through the home healthcare process.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in home care, home health, healthcare coordination, or healthcare operations.
- Active RN, LPN, EMT, or comparable healthcare certification.
- Advanced English communication skills for written and verbal interactions with U.S. patients, families, and clinicians.
- Demonstrated experience working with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong scheduling, multitasking, and customer service abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using virtual communication tools and coordinating care remotely.
- Preferred: home care scheduling experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
- Preferred: experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare organizations.
