Description:
A Dubai-based Cargo Transport and Heavy Equipment Rental company is currently seeking a skilled and organized Transport Coordinator to join its growing operations team. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination abilities, operational knowledge, and the capability to manage transport activities efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily transport schedules, fleet operations, and vehicle movements
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and the operations team regarding transport activities
• Arrange deliveries, pickups, and deployment of heavy equipment as per operational requirements
• Prepare invoices, delivery notes, transport documents, and job-related reports
• Follow up with customers regarding payments, collections, and pending invoices
• Provide customers with timely updates on delivery schedules and transport status
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, expenses, and driver activities
• Handle operational concerns, customer inquiries, and transport-related issues professionally
• Ensure smooth coordination between all departments to support daily transport operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, or heavy equipment rental operations
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage drivers, schedules, and customer requirements efficiently
• Knowledge of invoicing procedures and collection follow-up processes
• Good computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and email communication
• Familiarity with Dubai roads, routes, and transport operations will be considered an advantage
• English communication skills are mandatory
• Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic will be an added benefit
