The role combines hands-on team supervision with safety oversight, stock and dispatch coordination, and accurate operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct sorting and baling teams during each shift, allocate work and equipment, and maintain orderly, clean work areas.

- Coordinate forklift and wheel-loader schedules with operators, plan tipper movements with Logistics, and approve incoming waste deliveries from camps and external transporters.
- Arrange repairs and construction work with the Construction Supervisor, communicate conveyor and baler maintenance requirements, and support preventive maintenance planning.
- Check equipment inspection records and ensure worn or damaged spare parts are reported within 48 hours.
- Control access to MRF consumables by authorising store issues, monitoring usage and stock levels, and requesting replenishment through the Plant Manager or Procurement; follow up on deliveries with Logistics.
- Oversee loading of recyclable materials onto client trucks and record each dispatch in the Sales Tracker, including material type, bale count, weight and date.
- Check sales invoices with Accounts, prepare petty cash requests for sorting operations, and maintain records supporting workforce attendance, targets and bonuses.
- Review MRF data entries covering inflow, outflow, pig food sales, total sorted and total baled, and contribute information to weekly OKR reporting.
- Support staff administration by confirming casual attendance, updating weekly sorting and baling targets, advising on leave against operational needs, and participating in disciplinary hearings when required.

- Working proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Office, including the ability to maintain trackers and review operational data.
