A construction company working on road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi is looking for experienced candidates for the positions of Storekeeper and Storekeeper Assistant. The roles are suitable for professionals with experience in construction stores, warehouse operations, and material management.
The selected candidates will be responsible for handling material receiving, issuing, inventory control, stock records, and documentation while supporting smooth store operations. Candidates with knowledge of construction materials, ERP systems, and MS Excel will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage receiving, issuing, and storage of construction materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock documentation.
• Perform stock reconciliation and support regular inventory checks.
• Arrange and organize materials within the store/warehouse.
• Monitor material movement and ensure proper documentation.
• Support project teams with timely material availability.
Requirements:
• Storekeeper:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with road and infrastructure materials is preferred.
• Knowledge of material receiving, issuing, inventory control, and stock reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
• Storekeeper Assistant:
• Previous experience in construction stores or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Ability to assist with receiving, arranging, issuing, and counting materials.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Construction material handling and documentation.
• ERP systems, MS Excel, and stock control procedures.
