Job Title: Stock Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stock Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting business decisions through timely analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate stock valuation reports and reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory movements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze stock variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehousing teams to optimize stock management.
• Use ERP systems to generate detailed business analysis and reports.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance from a recognized institution.
• Professional Accounting certification: CPA/ACCA or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Or any other relevant bachelor’s degree and a professional accounting certification (CPA Section 4/ACCA Part II).
• A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in stock accounting.
• Experience in using accounting systems and ERP system.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for business analysis.
