Steak Chef

ZouZou is looking for a skilled and passionate Steak Chef to join its growing culinary team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals who have a strong background in steak preparation, grilling, and maintaining exceptional food quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing premium steak dishes with consistency, ensuring proper meat handling and presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. UAE-based candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and grill steaks according to quality standards and customer preferences.

• Handle different cuts of beef with proper preparation and portion control.

• Ensure consistency in taste, doneness, presentation, and plating.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and proper meat storage procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation.

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steak Chef or Grill Chef in a high-volume restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of different cuts of beef and proper cooking techniques.

• Excellent grilling and temperature-control skills.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper meat storage.

• Ability to maintain consistency in taste, doneness, portioning, and presentation.

• Able to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• UAE-based candidates are preferred.

• Experience with Turkish, Lebanese, Mediterranean, or international cuisine is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Steak preparation and grilling techniques.

• Meat handling, portion control, and presentation.

• Food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
