Description:

A leading organization in Sharjah is currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in financial reporting, audit coordination, IFRS compliance, taxation, and overall financial management within a structured corporate environment.

The organization is looking for a candidate who can manage end-to-end accounting operations, oversee multiple financial entities, and contribute to strategic financial planning while ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Prior experience in audit firms and team leadership will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and support strategic financial decision-making.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, taxation laws, and financial regulations.

• Implement and maintain internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Handle credit control functions, reconciliations, and financial risk assessments.

• Manage accounting operations across multiple entities and group companies.

• Lead and supervise finance team activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) required.

• Semi-qualified or fully qualified ACCA / ICAI preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.

• Prior experience in audit firms and team management is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial regulations.

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and MS Excel.

• Experience handling group companies and multi-entity financial structures preferred.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
